What is a Journey Group?
Journey Groups are groups of people that meet together to:

• Study God’s word
• Help each other learn what it means to be a disciple of Jesus
• Walk with each other in Love and Compassion
• Learn to experience the power of a living God daily
• Go beyond the message

What should I expect at a Journey Group meeting?
Journey Group meeting nights will usually involve certain areas of focus:

• Relaxed time for getting to know and catching up with each other
• Teaching ( topic of study dependant on group)
• Prayer
• Outreach opportunities (These are usually planned in advance)

Why should I be a part of a Journey Group?

• At LimaCC, we believe connection to a community of believers is critical to our spiritual growth.
• We also see in 1 Corinthians 12:12-29 the importance of being connected to other members of the body of Christ. It is through connections such as Journey Groups that we are able to learn more about gifts we have been given in order to be an active member of the Body.
• Journey Groups are also the place to walk along side others, as we explore who we are as believers.
• Journey Groups are a place to do life together. Here, we can encourage one another as we follow Jesus in the practical things of life, deepening and strengthening our marriage, raising our children, working our jobs.

Where and when do Journey Groups meet?

• Some groups meet on the church campus and some meet in homes.
• Journey groups meet throughout the week at different times.
