Dear LimaCC Family,

We have a big weekend coming up and I don’t want you to miss it. We will be gathering to celebrate our annual Pressing On weekend on October 29 and 30. This is a time when we pledge financial gifts to be used for our capital needs allowing more funds to be available for ministry purposes.

Your faithfulness and generosity to Lima Community Church never ceases to amaze me. Last year our church family committed to $286,306 for Pressing On, of which we expect to receive $266,269. Also, because of your faithfulness in giving throughout this year, we were able to apply an additional payment of $50,000 to reduce the principal on our loan balance. This is over and above the giving from Pressing On.

Thank you Lima Community family! God is so good and you are a reflection of His character with your giving.

Pressing On is so critical to us. Without Pressing On funds, all of our ministries would face significant reductions that would affect our ability to serve both our people and the people of the Lima region. Your generosity is vital in our journey of “making missionaries of the missing.”

Here is what we need to do next:

• Please be in prayer for the upcoming Pressing On weekend and ask the Holy Spirit to show you what your financial commitment should be. Enclosed you will find a commitment card that you can begin praying over and asking God for direction.
• We have been on an incredible journey together and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us. I have a message to share with you about this journey and I would like you to watch it at www.LimaCC.com. You will want to see this; it involves leather. If you are unable to view this message online, you can pick up a DVD at the Information Counter this weekend.
• Please make every effort to be in worship with us on October 29 and 30. I will be sharing the message “Step Over the Edge”, part 3 of our Liquid Mountaineering series, and we will be celebrating baptisms together. You won’t want to miss this exciting weekend!
