Beginning the weekend of March 29th, we will begin an 8 week, church-wide focus on the way we view the world, called "Days of Vision". Everyone, without exception, has windows through which we view the world. These windows shape how we feel, what we think, and everything we do. Incredibly, we seldom realize that we have these windows, and are unaware of how they impact our lives. We are not born with these windows, instead they are formed throughout our lives and are influenced by the people and circumstances of our lives.
These windows are what we call our world-view. It is the way we picture or think about God, ourselves, others, and the world around us. Some of our pictures line up with God's perfect view of things; some do not. Join us as we discover how we can better sharpen our vision of the world, as we seek to see the world through God's eyes.
Days of Vision will include messages during our weekend services, further studies in our Journey Communities, and resources for individual reading on the topics. Our desire is that everyone will commit to attending weekend services, to joining a Journey Community for further study, and to reading the individual resources each week. In order to help everyone find a Journey Community for the 8 weeks, we urge you to visit the Connection Counter in the foyer to find a Journey Community. You can also just visit a Journey Community. A full list can be found HERE.
Below you will the material for the past week in case you need to catch up. To get next week's reading, please go to a Journey Community or stop by the Connection Counter. We look forward to learning with you, along the journey.
